Description for Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon 1974
The final piece of the puzzle to this bus running like new was to fix a vacuum leak. This car starts every time, runs and has been on several recent road trips of hundreds of miles (Chicago to Northeastern MO, for example) with no incident.New paint in 2014
I have owned this Volkswagen since 2005. It's been to Costa Rica and back with me. There's very little rust - the body is in very good condition. Front seat upholstery is custom, hand-sewn. All window seals were replaced when I had it repainted.
This car needs: Antenna connected (modern Pioneer stereo works great), windshield washer fluid assembly connected, passenger side door seal.

Delivery: I will deliver this bus free anywhere within 50 miles of I-70 between St Louis and Denver - beyond that, let's discuss.

The 2 most important repair books (How to keep your Volkswagen alive & the Chiltons manual), the owner's manual, a great pioneer stereo (CD/AM/FM/MP3) - box included, tires with no more than 5k miles, brand new battery, some key parts including fuel filters, alternator belt, clutch & accelerator cables (x2!), a new ignition lock ready to install (don't remember why I have that / nothing wrong with the existing ignition), new shift linkage installed recently, a suspension in great condition w/ relatively new cv boots, shocks etc..
Why am I parting with this VW if it's so wonderful? I have a decade long relationship with this car, and I love it! However, I live in an ecovillage now, and we don't have need for individual cars (we have a car coop). It's time for Sergio (that's my VW's name) to have some new adventures with some new loving owners.
