1981 VW Vanagon camper in Assuan brown with tan interior.It currently has 212k miles on the odometer and12k on a rebuilt air cooled2.0liter boxerengine. This van has the full Westfalia camping package with pop-top, sink, stove, fridge. I have installedthe very comfortableGL seats, with armrestsin place of the cheapstock seats and the smaller GL steering wheel to allow leg clearance for the larger GL seats. (I do have the stock seats if the buyer wants them) The pop-top canvas isoriginal, and is still veryuseable and not dry rotted it just has a couple small repairs. The original woodgrain cabinets, curtains, stove top, burners and AC/DC/LP fridgehave been very well kept, clean and work well. The engine was rebuilt at 200k and at that time was fitted with a new Weber carb retrofit kitreplacing the factory fuel injection.This is a very reliable setup and it works well, and has good power. The heater boxes andtubes are all hooked up and functioning.The manual 4 speed transmission and clutch function as they should, no grinds clunks or growls.Thepaint is respectable, but not perfectand hasa few chipshere and there.Comes with the factory owners manual and some service records.This is a clean,rust free southern Vanagon that has not been driven in the northeasternsnow.The floors underneath looks great, no holes orcorrosion anywhere.
