Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1974
Hi Thank you for checking out our auction, up for sale is an extremely rare find VW project. The 1974 Volkswagen Classic Beetle has been converted to a 1952 VW Beetle Custom with 63K miles on the original 1974 Chassis and Zero on 1952 conversion project. The engine which has a fresh rebuild with zero miles (Started Only) runs/sounds great. The VW's engine has been motivated with a brand New Big Bore Kit which increased the 1600cc to 1735cc, Dual Kadron carbs, Chrome 0900 Distributor and equipped with 041 Heads. The transmission shifts and works excellent.
Majority of the 1952 Custom Conversion is done which includes; the roof has been chopped 3 inches, 1952 Split Window Conversion that looks factory, 1952 Custom Engine Hatch, Custom Louvered Hood (Hood does have light surface rust only), (1952) 3 inch Wide Front and Rear Fenders Kit (Fenders will need adjustment/trimming and proper alignment, did not get around to finalizing Fenders fitment), 1952 Custom Running Board Front to Back Kit, replaced the entire VW 's Floor, brand new complete Front to Rear Floor Pans installed (Please see pictures very clean Floor Pan work), 2 used Custom seats that resemble Ricardo styling seats (Seats will need a good cleanup from storage), all new complete Tinted Glass Kit Except the Front Windshield and do note the front windshield currently in the VW is cracked, a new replacement windshield will have to be cut in order to accommodate the 3 inch roof chop and all windows will have to be installed. We recommend replacing the wiring or installing a universal wiring kit. Other than the still in the box New Tinted Glass mentioned in this article, what you see in the pictures is what you get. The 1974 VW's VA title is clear and good to go. We don't deal with any junk, this 1974VW Beetle to a 1952 Conversion is an exciting project to complete and at a pivotal point in the build that allows you to finish customizing anyway you like, thus satisfying your taste. Please check out my feedback and bid with confidence.
Thank you for Your Time,
AL
