Description for Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon 1972
1972 TIN TOP WESTFALIA - CALIFORNIA CAMPER - PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT1.7LENGINE - NEWLY PAINTED EXTERIORRare, very nice condition California bus. This bus has amazing character and is a blast to drive and to use around town. It has CA blue plates, with CA pink slip/title. I purchased this a few years ago and added to my collection of cars. I am selling a few of my buses to help fund my daughters 529 for college and thought it would be great to put this one back on the road.
When I purchased the bus the engine had been freshly built by a well-known engine builder here in San Diego. I decided to sell so I brought to my friends Restoration shop and had him install the motor and take care of all the necessary things to get properly running and driving. We also decided to put a fresh Lotus White paint job to make it look amazing. The over-riderson the bumpers have been on since new and add a split window look that I really like.
New side mirrors were installed and side markers and all lights and electronics are working except for the gas gauge. This is a bus you can just get in and drive anywhere. I am bringing in tomorrow to Discount Tire to have new Hankook 205-70-14 white wall tires installed as I like the look better and it deserves a new set.
Bus in located in La Jolla CA, you are welcome to contact me with any questions and come by and drive or send someone to inspect. It is a 45 year old bus; it is not brand new. If you have never owned a classic car; please be sure you understand they ALL have leaks and creaks.
I will gladly assist and work with your transport company to have the bus delivered to you.
