NO RESERVE NO RESERVE
Has up for auction a very desirable 1969 VW Beetle convertible finished in a deep blue with light blue interior.
This Karmann Body beauty was restored within the last five years. Newly installed items include a brand new original rag convertible top, new tires and brand new heater boxes and running boards. The exterior paint shines like new and is pretty much blemish free. The wheel covers, chrome and all around glass are excellent. The floors, trunk pan and underside are also very presentable. No rust or bubbling anywhere.
The interior is excellent. No blemishes of any kind. The seats, carpeting, door panels, convertible top headliner and dash are all in very nice condition. The odometer reads 17,981 but the clear title reads "exempt." So its morel likely that the actual mileage is 117,981.
The super running 1600 cc 4 stroke 47 HP engine that was, according to the engine numbers,(B6397549)came from a 1970 VW Beetle, runs smooth and smokeless. The four speed transmission shifts nicely through all the gears. The car drives straight and strong and stops on a dime.
This is a really desirable 69 Bug convertible that can be driven anywhere and often and also be proudly displayed at your local car shows and cruise nights.
This is a NO RESERVE auction meaning that the highest bid when the auction ends gets the car. All we do ask is that you "first-time" eBay bidders contact us before placing a bid.
Best of luck bidding!
