Description for Volkswagen Beetle-New 1977
This is the best of Beetle motoring. After all, this 1977 Volkswagen offers Super Beetle upgrades, but with the classic appearance, a ton of custom upgrades, and an overall striking appearance. So when a distinct drop top is also so nicely priced, then it might not be around long enough for you to read all the details. The large headlights, long front hood, classic chrome bumpers, and stub-nose decklid probably made you first think this was a... pre-'64 machine. And that's just the beginning of the car's custom appearance. This Bug really loves to show off the how these can have an individual spirit with the minilite-style 15-inch wheels, sport mirrors, blue-dot taillights, and louvered front fenders, and louvered decklid. It's all wrapped in a glossy shade of modern metallic bronze. The full custom pinstripe package that matches the convertible boot cover is truly a thoughtful touch. So while this VW's sheet metal is iconic, this one is unmistakable custom from the first impression. Inside, this one continues its full custom look. The two-tone bucket seats have a comfortable cloth insert, which is always nice for convertibles on hot days. This coordinates with the carpeting, dash, and custom door panels for a full uniform look. And because this all matches the exterior, you have a terrific-looking total package with the top down. There are great driver upgrades like the stylish Dino steeling wheel and T-handle gearshift. But this also retains great retro-style classic Beetle elements to go with the early-style exterior. This includes the vintage VDO gauge, separate fuel readout, and classic solid state radio (but don't worry a more modern AM/FM/cassette stereo is hidden away for road trip tunes.) The engine bay has been painted in cream for added distinction. Still, the 1600 cc air-cooled flat-four should be instantly recognizable to VW fans. You can tell from the orderly appearance that this has been maintained properly. It fires up nicely, and the motor delivers the distinct air-cooled symphony that is hypnotic to VW fans. You take full control over this flat-four thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. Because there's a Super Beetle underneath the retro appearance, you get all the suspension upgrades in this early-style machine! Distinct cruising drop tops like this are usually not so affordable, so hurry up before some else takes this home. Call now!
