We have most of the known history and documentation of the car from delivery to present. It was delivered new in August 1964 to a dealership in Miami, FL. The car was used frequently in the first two years of service. In early November of 1964 the car was in a minor accident and had the front left and rear left fenders replaced. The original body shop repair order (invoice) shows this being completed in November 1964. The car would continue to be registered in Florida until 1971/72 but driven only about 600 miles over the next few years.
The original owner's brother, stated the car was used very little in late 1960s. The brother then bought the car and it sat in his garage for the next 40+ years. We purchased the car in the summer of 2017 from the brother and immediately replaced the fuel and made some minor adjustment to get the car running again. Outside of those adjustments, we cleaned the car up and it has sat in its original condition since. We believe the car to have 15,638 original miles and the car is mostly all original with the exception of the two fenders that were replaced. This car is a great example of a preservation car and ready for its next owner.
