I had the Van professionally painted about 6 months ago the stock "red" colour. The company is very good at what they do, and it shows. They specialize in VW's.
REBUILT MOTOR: We rebuilt the motor about 4,500 miles ago and had that completed by the local family owned shop, who specialize in VW's and have been doing it for 2 generations.
The van drives straight and true, without any hint of a shudder. It had the original clutch when we recently rebuilt the motor. Tells you the prior owners knew how to drive it and took care.
