1968 Volkswagen Standard Beetle. This was originally an auto stick car so it has IRS suspension in the back. It has been converted to a standard 4 speed with a clutch. From what we can tell this car was built sometime in the 90's and has all the typical stuff done from that period. Its got later floor pans that allow the sport seats to be installed. disc brakes in the front presumably from a ghia. pop out rear windows. upgraded gauges in the dash. sport wheels (the wider ones) sway bars. etc. It also comes with a number of extra parts in the car and in the "trunk" everything you see in the pics comes with the car. The body is real straight and solid. the floors have a few rust holes but nothing major. We have not tried to start the engine since the car has been sitting since 2004. It does however turn over freely by hand. The car rolls easily and the tires hold air. the brakes still stop the car. With minimal effort this car could be on the road again. Restore or drive it as it is. almost hate to mess up the patina. the car is a great time capsule for anyone that modified these cars in the 90's. The car has a clear VA title. We are a VA dealer so the title will need to be transferred into your name. This requires you to be present when paying and or picking up the vehicle. (We are in Richmond. VA.
