West Coast 1973 Mercedes 450 SL only 90321 miles straight and rust free

This 1973 Mercedes was sold new in Wichita Falls Texas and since then it has had only two other owners . It is completely rust free and it appears to have never suffered any accident damage, the structure of this car is really very good. The car is original 387H Blau and has never been color changed the paint is not great it could benefit from a paint job though is quite useable as is. The car has good records and to our knowledge the car has only 90,000 odd original miles though this cannot be guaranteed . The engine runs great and the transmission shifts as it should. Overall the car drives very well. The interior is all original though the seats have lost their shape a little there are no rips or tears and the original MB text has held up very well. The carpets need replacin, the very best thing though is the dash is in very good shape indeed there are no cracks and this is by far the most difficult item to restore. The soft top is original but still in excellent shape with no rips or tears. This is a useable car with great potential for improvement and these early small bumper cars at a serious premium. It comes with some records to show much attention and money spent by it's last enthusiast owner.
