I'm selling my 1981 Porsche 911SC Targa in pristine condition.

Located in Newport Beach, CA

I've had the car for over 2 years. I fully restored the interior and exterior right after I purchased it, and enjoyed it tremendously since. During my ownership I had absolutely no mechanical issues, and meticulously maintained the car. Some notable highlights:

- Marine Blue Metallic over Cream Leatherette interior.

- Matching engine/transmission numbers

- Maintained regularly at Newport Motorsports, classic Porsche specialist in Costa Mesa CA.

- Engine in excellent condition. Runs strong. Absolutely no smoke, no major leaks. Always starts perfectly cold or warm.

- 915 transmission and clutch are in excellent condition. Shifts perfectly.

- Brakes in excellent condition. Stops smoothly and straight.

- No electrical issues. Power windows, headlights, turn signals etc. work perfectly.

- Odometer stopped at 136k miles, and I put less than 2k miles after that.

- Original Fuchs wheels.

- Original working Blaupunkt radio/casette player.

- Manuals, spare tire, toolkit included.

- Clean Carfax. Absolutely no accidents. Clean CA title. Passes CA smog test with flying colors.

The car went through a full restoration:

- All-glass out repaint in Marine blue metallic

- All new seals and gasket throughout

- Seats and door panels covered in Cream leatherette

- New black plush carpets

- Dash covered in black leatherette

- New Hankook tires

- New Momo Prototipo (brushed Aluminum) steering wheel

- European H4 headlights with chrome trim

- European (smaller) rear bumper guards

- Rear center reflector (included) replaced withCustom body-color metal plate

- Polished steel Targa bar

- Disconnected cruise control and AC. Parts have not been removed from the car and can be reconnected.


Known Issues:

- Tachometer can be jumpy at times

- 3 very small rock chips on the paint (<1/16in) but no dings

- Odometer does not work
