OVERVIEW:This is a very rare 1924 Chevrolet Superior Series F, passenger, door coupe. This was a new body style for Chevrolet introduced this year, nd with its wider doors was often marketed towards women as they allowed for more graceful entry into and exit from the auto.
The Superior 4 passenger coupe sold for $725, nd weighed in at 2,005 lbs.

It carries serial # 9B36748. The data tag also displays SM-7247, eaning unknown. The overhead valve 4 cylinder engine has a displacement of 171 ci. and is rated at 26 horsepower. This particular vintage Chevrolet was acquired by its present family in 1984 from Regina, askatchewan in western Canada. It was the subject of an extensive and thorough, igh quality restoration which was completed in the mid 1990's. The wood structure was painstakingly and totally reconstructed of new oak hardwood by the owner, nd was photo documented. Experienced club members as well as professional craftsmen were involved as required to restore the car to the high standard the owner was pursuing. To most this car will show as a #1 condition. Although a few very minor blemishes and paint chips may cause the most critical of eyes and judges to consider it a strong #2 at worst.
Current presentation shows some dust and such from its few outings and garage storage, ost evident on the chassis. Some time spent on light cleaning and detailing would quickly reveal that this car would still show virtually as fresh as the day its restoration was completed. In the years since completion it has been on several outings and to shows, ut was always trailered, nd as such only shows 53 driven miles on the odometer. It is believed to be the only one of its kind registered in Canada. This rare coupe is one of those wonderful and correct restorations that occasionally surface. It would be perfectly at home in a museum or in the hands of a discerning collector, hile being up to the task of providing enjoyment in parades and local outings. DRIVETRAIN:

There are only some minor chips that have occurred over the years since completion. The worst would be along the belt line at the left rear corner of the body where a few round spots likely reveal the location of screw or nail heads.
