1969 Camaro Convertible 327 V8 Automatic Original Hugger Orange and Ivory Black Project from the hit TV show Fast N’ Loud offered by Gas Monkey Garage! When I caught wind of an original 327 Hugger Orange and Ivory with White Convertible car that was running and driving when put into storage years ago I knew I had to act quickly to secure it for the shop! This is a 327 v8 car built at the Norwood Ohio plant in the 2nd week of Feb 1969, t is an original Hugger Orange and White car with Automatic and Power Steering as standard equipment. Now I knew it had rus, ut I was still interested in an Original Hugger orange 327 Convertible so went to go check it out closer. What I found was a fairly unmolested original car (even still has the "cocktail shakers"present in the trunk! see all pics)that certainly had potential and a deal was made. When I got the car back to the shop I had the Monkeys take a look and we found there was some work to do before attempting to start it for the first time,so we drained the fluids and fuel, eplaced some of the brake components that had deteriorated from age and got the car running and driving again.(Please note; this car hasn’t run or been driven in years and while it runs and drives now, t will need to be completely serviced to ensure safety and reliability before any extended driving is attempted and with our filming schedule we cannot perform any other service or build this car for you SOLD AS IS/WHERE IS!) We cleaned and polish the car to get a better idea of which direction to go with this car and between the launch of the Gas Monkey Tequila, ook signings and our filming schedule, ’ve decide offer this 1969 327 Camaro Convertible project to you just as it sits now so you can build it just the way you want.
