GARAGE FIND sitting in storage for 30 years. Air cooled fans here is the car you've been looking for!1964 Chevy Corvair 500 2 door. This was the first year of the new body style. This car is very complete and original with only 48. 93 on the odometer. All body panels are straight. dent free. and lacking any serious rust. The trunk is solid and no holes. it even has the glass window fluid bottle. Engine is complete and appears to be in very good condition. I took the plugs out and added Marvel Mystery Oil but have not turned engine. All fluids looked good and no water in the oil. I put some newer tires on so car can roll and travel. The interior is like a time capsule. No rips or tears in the upholstery. Dashboard is complete with no cracks or missing knobs. There is some floor rot in the rear driver side; easy fix as far as floors go as it does not appear to be into the rocker panel or even the curved portion of the floor pan. Door panels are very good. Lever transmission shifts easily. Glass is very good and windshield clear of cracks and major pitting. Windoew roll up and down easily. I could not pass up this excellent restoration candidate but other projects are calling and it needs a nice home. Message me if you would like to see the car.
