Wendell 706-831-1899 Up for auction is a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. I purchased the car from North Carolina where it had the same owner for the past 15 years. It has had a recent mechanical and cosmetic restoration and the car runs. rides. and drives excellent. The Wimbledon white paint is as slick as glass and the body is nice and straight as you will see in the many pictures. The chrome and the bright work are in good to excellent condition. The blue power top is basically as new. The tires are almost new as well. It is a good looking car. The interior was restored with new carpet. seat covers and so forth and it is very nice…  All of the gauges. lights. horn. and turn signals work as they should. The factory AM radio makes a little noise when you turn it on but I can’t pick up any stations on it. The engine is a very strong running. rebuilt 289 V8. I do not have the specifics on the internals of the rebuild but it has a nice sounding cam and the motor is really strong. I assume it has high performance parts inside based on the power and performance. It does have an Edelbrock 600cfm 4 barrel carburetor and headers. It also has new chrome valve covers and breather. It also looks like a new radiator and a new alternator. I was told that the clutch is brand new as well and it really shifts nice and smooth. This car is a real pleasure to drive and it goes down the road nice and straight and smooth. The underside is painted black. It is solid and clean and the torque boxes look real good. This is a real good Mustang convertible and the new owners will be very proud of the car.
