I have been collecting these cars for close to 9 years and have a sizable collection for sale. This is a VERY special car. I have kept all the records and have to say it's at the top of the list of all the 300d series I have ever owned. The price is based on how rare the car is. how many were made in this extremely rare color combination especially in this condition with this classic and legendary reliable motor that boasts hundreds of thousands of miles - built like a tank - classy - timeless. and in metallic blue on creme which was a custom order from Mercedes and only available for two years 84 and 85. This is an extremely rare collectable car in stunning condition. This car is worth the "buy it now" and may go outside the auction. This series is the last hoorah from Mercedes and sported an updated turbo for the last 4 years of production which is functioning just as if it just left the factory and is to Mbz specifications. The title was issued in 1985 and is clear with no issues at all. Original and documented REAL miles (I am currently driving this car so miles will be a little higher by there time you get it) - I see many cars offered on Ebay which do not have the correct miles especially ones dated 1981 and before where DMV and carfax have no records to substantiate the true miles. This is the real deal and looks. drives. smells and feels like a new car. This car not only is as new but drives exceptionally well and has that trademark Mbz 300D smell.
