For sale is my nicely restored 1954 MG TF painted in its original Ivory with a green interior. The TF was restored5 years ago andwas fitted withnew body tub from Hutsons in the UK during the restoration. All the wood and metal skins were new, bsolutely no rust or wood rot. Since restoration the TF has not seen a single drop of rain.The engine was overhauled and I'm not sure what the original mileage was but the internal engine wear was minimal. It is still a standard bore size and the crank bearings are also still standard. A new Crane cam and followerswas installed. Hardened exhaust valve seats wereinstalled in the head along with bronze valve guides. The transmission was stripped and a new lay shaft and bearings were installed, ll the gears sets were in perfect condition, ven first gear!. All the mechanical systems we gone through and the car is a real pleasure to drive, t will run at 55 mph all day without missing a beat. The radiator was re-cored witha larger flow rate core and a 70's MGB 7 bladed plastic fan installed ( the original metal fan goes with the TF ). All the instruments were sent to John Marks atVintage Restorations in the UK and were restored to as new condition, ven the clock works !( most of the time ). The original leather interior is was replaced along with the top and side curtains. Yes, know they should be Tandouble duck canvas, ut with the Ivory body and Green interior, he black Stayfast top just lookright. The TF still has the original MGasymmetric front and rear bumper that were re chromed, ot the crappy Chinese after market bumpers seen on most T-Series cars these days. Most of the chromeitemsare the originalMG pieces, o Chineseafter market stuff on my TF. The wire wheels are Dunlop with Dunlop 185/70 radial tires. I have an original set of wire wheelsthat have 155bias ply tires that will need restoration if wanted with the TF. The electrical system is perfect, new fabric covered wiring loom from British Wiring was installed and the original electromechanical voltage regulator guts were changed to an electronic regulator. The SU fuel pump is a new electronic version from S, es it still clicks away just like the mechanical version. The car has won quite a few awards, ast year itwas best in class at the Hunt Country Classic MG car show.

Whomever buys my TF will get a well sorted car that will be a great show car with the bonus of being a great driver.The TFis not a trailer queen, have put around 3,400 miles on the TF in the past5 years and I have enjoyed every mile of it.
