1965 MGB, Roadste, very early car with Pull door handles, ”kink gear lever ”, and overdrive !!, it works beautifully !!, This MG is ready to hop in and drive!!! I took it for a spin up through the hills of Hacienda Heights to get some pictures, and I have to say I was very impressed with the performance!! I climbed the steep hills in 3rd gear, And it pulled like a train!! Oil pressure is 60lbs, Very nice second gear synchro, no noise in first gear . Great brakes, and clutch, positive steering, distinctive MGB exhaust note !!, ( I love it !! ) The dash is in excellent shape, it appears the recrinkiling of the dash was redone, and looks just great !! The toggle switches are in nice condition, map light works !! The car is equipped with very good Radial tires, and Performance alloy wheels( Mini Lite type ). It will need a carpet kit,and new soft top, It comes with original tool kit and jack. I also have the handbook, and workshop manual, and older Tonneau cover, The bonnet is the correct factory aluminum typ, Engine area is very clean and tidy!!! It has a Weber Carb, ( lots of power ) However I think I may have an SU Carb set laying around. Landing plate is straight; very nice. The paint is Amateurishly done. Where there has been some perforation on the floor there has a light sheet of fiberglass laid to correct this ( looks very presentable ), of course its not perfect, nor is it a show car, but !!!!, its a very good old car !!, that you will enjoy enormously !!!
This is a great car to take on a Sunday morning to grab some coffee, road trips, a day at the beach etc etc, It is a JOY TO DRIVE!!, you will love it !!!
