Imagine if you had all the money in the world to meticulously keep-up a pride and joy? The result would be this car. Years of garage-kept, car covering care and maintenance has this golden gem showing beautifully. 40 Years of fawning and only 63,980 miles. This Y88 is in excellent, original, working, condition, including the Stereo and has all General Motors decals and stripes over beautiful and lustrous paint. Pictures were taken before the professional detailing that really brought out the illustrious gold metallic paint; exceptional results by professional craftsmen on their game.

It really is 1978 again !

As one of 1,267 produced, even fewer had the W72 Engine Performance Package and fewer yet with luxurious camel color Lombardy Velour Deluxe Interior. 4-Speed with OEM Hurst Shifter. Yup! True dual exhaust too.

This car checks all the right “boxes”. You can pay six figures to restore one of these or search a very long time before finding another opportunity to buy a high-quality, affordable car like this.

Gold Y88 cars are becoming more highly desired as black s/e values top-out. Expect market prices to climb as it’s natural 1978 Gold S/E Y88, W72, 4-Speed (the metallic muscular equivalent) will continue coming back in vogue. This same car's equivalent brings $15,000 to $20,000 more just being black. What gives?

Remember not all gold ’78 Trans Am are special editions. This is!
